Local Effort Key to National Grassroots Campaign
Albuquerque, NM -- As the leading protector of privacy and a woman’s right to choose in the state of New Mexico, NARAL Pro-Choice New Mexico will rev up its aggressive grassroots efforts to reach targeted voters – particularly pro-choice women - as part of the National Women’s Election Action Day sponsored by nationwide grassroots coalition America Votes.
Young women have grown up in an environment of freedom and limitless possibility, but Bush Administration’s relentless record of limiting choice through policies such as denying access to emergency contraception, and shifting funds away from responsible sex education toward unproven abstinence-only programs, limit the freedoms and endanger the health of this critical voting group.
NARAL Pro-Choice New Mexico is doing everything in its power to educate these women – and to make sure they act this November.
