Kate Michelman, President Emeritus of NARAL Pro-Choice America, will be in New Mexico to promote a legislative agenda to increase access to emergency contraception and insurance coverage of contraceptives.
NARAL Pro-Choice New Mexico’s legislative agenda includes:
-public awareness about Emergency Contraception.
-an evaluation of the benefits of contraception use
-dissemination of insurance coverage information to the public
-update the study of the insurance industry’s compliance with requirements to offer coverage of prescription contraceptives.
